Shaman weapons Empty Shaman weapons

Maelstrom weapon doesn't proc off swords. Makes shamans sad. Please fix.

I see, as of right now, I find that daggers are doing excellent for my shaman, the attack speed only increases my chances of a WF proc.

Shamans were never able to use swords so it is understandable that Maelstrom Weapon does not proc.  A solution to this is to have the sword in your off hand while having a mace/axe/dagger in your main hand to proc these effects.

Actually, axes are better than anything atm. The windfury spell itself has a cooldown built into it from the game. So running faster weapons does not increase your proc chance. As for the maelstrom procing with an axe or dagger mainhand and a sword offhand, it does work. But it does not stack as quickly because the offhand weapon still does not trigger the effect as it would if you were wearing an axe. Just a tip from another enhance sham. = P

also windfury procs based on weapon speed and because of flurry increasing attack speed it has generally been preferred throughout the games history to have slower 1h weapons as enhancement.
